Title:
Sports and Exercise on Mental Health
Abstract:
Our literature-based research shows that exercise has a positive impact not only on the body, but on the mind as well. Just like for many other disorders, physical activity is not only recommended to prevent mental illness, but can also improve conditions for those who already have one. However, too much of anything can have negative effects, and exercise is no exception. It is possible to become addicted to and reliant on exercise. Studies show that after a certain amount of time exercising has elapsed, the result of exercise begins to shift to a negative effect on both the body and mind. However, as long as exercising is conducted within adequate parameters, the outcome of physical activity on mental health will be positive.
