Furthermore, the financial impact of an emergency event has the potential to bring an organization to its knees, meaning that the need for financially preparing an organization to withstand a disaster is of the utmost importance. Financial preparations and planning of how a nursing home will financially recover from a sudden climate disaster is a necessary component to ensure that a nursing home will be able to provide care to those it serves following a sudden emergency.
