House: Bringing Sustainable Healthy Foods to Your Community Through a Local Food Market

Abstract:
The scarcity of food in the Flagstaff region is a concern within the community, and local food resources and products should be more readily available for the community to promote nutritional goals educating the general public. This project will focus on designing a building that provides options for the community in gaining access to wholesome food. Additionally, this concept will assist with the local economy while providing a benefit for an indoor farmers market to a community that does not currently have one. The objective is to support resources for the community and provide energetic fresh food along with an innovative and inviting aesthetic design to integrate healthier lifestyles.
